Two prompts in a row where I have to make serious decisons...yesterday being the one thing I couldn't live without and now today I have to pic my favorite picture on Instagram? Life is not fair...just kidding, I'm really digging #Blogtober14 so far!
As I am furiously scrolling through my Instagram feed to figure out which picture is my favorite, I can't help but get little butterflies in my stomach when seeing all these happy memories saved forever on the internet. Most of the pictures I post commemorate some really great moments in my life and I love being able to relive them with the quick opening of an app (another reason why I can't like without my iPhone...see yesterday's post).
The picture I finally decided on (drumroll, please)....

This picture was taken on Easter, when John and I were in Washington D.C. for the weekend to visit all the museums. I like the picture because John looks like a cutie, I was having a good outfit day, and it reminds me of what a blast we had that weekend. We attempted to go to all the Smithsonian museums over the course of two days and did SO MUCH walking (see here for a better recap)!
There is a funny story behind this picture too...We were sitting on a half wall facing the Capitol building to rest our aching feet, and a young woman from another country came up to us to ask if we would sign a birthday card for her best friend in our native language. As I was signing the card, I noticed that there were birthday wishes for her friend in so many different languages and I thought it was such a clever idea! After I had signed the card, I asked her for a favor in return...to take a picture of John and I!
What is your favorite Instagram picture?
