I am an expert...with procrastination

When I looked ahead on Wednesday to see what today's prompt was, I thought "Oh! I can totally start this prompt, I already know what I am going to write about". Then American Horror Story came on and I thought "You can bust out that post right after AHS is finished"...Present Meghan is always thinking that Future Meghan is some sort of superstar who is a proactive go-getter that actually sticks with the deadlines she gives herself. However, Present Meghan is lazy and tries to push off the work to another time (even if its fun work, like blogging).

After AHS was over, I just wanted to catch up on all your blogs and then while falling asleep I told myself, "you have all morning to work on that post, you can get it done before your afternoon class". So Thursday morning rolled around and I spent it watching YouTube videos on everyday fall makeup looks and wishing I had darker and more autumnal themed lipsticks. I thought "you can just work on it when you get home around 5, you'll have it done before dinner".
Instead of going right home to work on the post, I went to Target to buy dry shampoo (my life saver) and promptly got distracted by all the Halloween goodies in the $1 & $3 section of the store. I thought, "Yes you need those Halloween themed sprinkles, maybe they will help you become a baker?" I then spent 15 minutes searching for the perfect fall lipstick colors (and then Target was totally sold out of the ones I wanted). I was annoyed at this point because your girl just wanted some fancy fall lips, okay?? I went to the wine aisle (because I knew they wouldn't be out of wine), and promptly checked out. Do you think I left Target with the one thing I actually needed (dry shampoo)? Nope. Guess I'll have to go back to spend my life savings on more things I don't need.

Upon getting home, I had dinner and watched Halloweentown 3&4 (as I thought to myself, "Meghan, you have all night to write the post, just relax right now") so now here I sit at 9:30 with a glass a wine finally ready write this post. If this doesn't thoroughly convince you of my expertise in procrastination, I don't know what will.

What are you an expert in?
